These terms apply when you use HerdVault, a cattle record-keeping app made by The Freedom Edit (“we”). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in safe and for what happens under your account. Give accurate information, and only add people to your ranch whom you trust with your records.
Your records
The records, photos, and paperwork you add belong to you. You give us permission to store, sync, and process them only to run the app for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can export your records or delete your account at any time from the More tab.
Smart tools and estimates
Features such as paper scanning, voice entry, weight from a photo, and Ask are automated and can be wrong. Always check results before you rely on them. Weight estimates are approximate and are not a substitute for a scale. HerdVault is a record-keeping tool and does not give veterinary, legal, tax, or financial advice. Follow your veterinarian’s directions and product labels, including withdrawal times.
Subscriptions
HerdVault offers a free plan and paid plans. Paid plans are auto-renewing subscriptions. Prices and what each plan includes are shown in the app before you subscribe.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase.
- Your subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the price shown for your plan.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription any time in your Apple ID account settings (Settings > your name > Subscriptions). Deleting the app does not cancel it.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
If your plan ends or you go over a plan limit, you keep access to your records and can export them.
Acceptable use
Do not use the app to break the law, to upload content you have no right to use, to try to access other people’s data, or to interfere with the app or its servers.
No guarantees
We work to keep HerdVault reliable and your records safe, but the app is provided “as is.” We do not promise it will always be available or error-free. Keep your own backups of important records by using Export. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or lost-profit losses, or for decisions made from the app’s records or estimates, and our total responsibility to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the issue.
Apple
These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
Changes and ending use
We may update these terms. If changes are significant we will tell you in the app. You can stop using HerdVault and delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
