Rung: Habit Tracker (“Rung”) is an iPhone app from The Freedom Edit. This policy explains what the app does with your information. The short version: your habits stay on your phone, and we do not run accounts or collect your personal data.

What stays on your device

Everything you enter in Rung, such as your habits, check-ins, goals, name and theme choices, is stored on your device. We do not receive it, we cannot see it, and we do not have a server that holds it. If you delete the app, that data is removed with it.

Accounts and tracking

Rung has no sign-up or login. It has no advertising, no ad networks and no analytics or tracking tools. We do not sell or share your data.

Subscriptions and purchases

Rung Pro is optional and is sold through Apple’s in-app purchase system. Apple processes your payment, and we never see your card or Apple ID details. To confirm whether Rung Pro is active on your device, the app uses RevenueCat, a subscription service. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app identifier and your purchase status from Apple. It does not receive your habits or any personal details you enter in the app. RevenueCat is based in the United States, so this information may be processed there. Children

Rung is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Your choices

You can delete your habit data at any time by deleting the app. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple ID settings.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, such as the United Kingdom or California, you may have the right to ask what personal information a company holds about you, to ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and to object to or limit how it is used. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for advertising. Because your habit data never leaves your device, we do not hold it and cannot access it. The only information that leaves your device is the anonymous identifier and purchase status described above, which is used only to provide Rung Pro. If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
